The roadster has been completely disassembled and the painting proces is underway. John purchased a 700R4 from TPI performance. It's really a good match for the car, and should provide firm to hard shifts. The only downfall is it comes painted.

After totally sanding all paint off the tranny, then smoothing the rough casting marks, the tranny is coated with several coats of primer.

Finally starting to shoot some paint. This (along with some smaller parts) is the first item to get painted. It's a good place to get a feel for how many color coats its going to take for good coverage.
