We're using SoCal upper shock mounts on the front, but as usual, we need to modify them to work a little better.  Since we're using a flat front crossmember and a super low front spring, our C notch is a little deeper than usual.  This posses a clearance problems with the upper shock mounts.  On a good bump, the spring would get into the mount.

To aleviate this problem, we cut and rotated the lower portion of the shock mount.

You can see how it now works with the C notch to provide the needed clearance.
