Alan had this small block Chevy built several years back.  He smoothed the block real nice and primed it.  Being it was in Laquer primer, we decided to sand it back down to bare.  At this time we also needed to remove the gear drive and install a chain drive.





Since we had to pull the pan and front cover to replace the gear drive, we could clean them seperatly.  Now that this is done, we can finish sanding the primer back down.

 
Everything is cleaned real well and we're ready for primer and paint.

Painted and partially assembled. 
A little closer, once it's complete, it's off to the dyno to test and tune.
