We're
using an aluminum shroud from Griffin Radiators. We've used this shroud
in many previous cars with a mechanical fan and have never had an
overheating problem.
We're
using a little shorter Walker radiator, so were going to have to shorten
the shroud before cutting the hole.
Once
it was shortened and fit to the radiator, we cut the hole and formed a
3/4" lip. We've also made sure we have 3/4" clearance to the fan.
Here's
the shroud mounted to the radiator. We will paint it body color when
complete.
Here's a shot after all
of the bodywork, painting, sanding and buffing has been done. It will
really look nice attached to the radiator.
