Here’s the stock floor.  Steve’s Auto Restoration does a beautiful job building these cars.  I almost hate to cut into it, but we need to narrow the inner fender wells a bit for clearance.

At this point the rear floor has been removed along with the inner fender well.
We’ve moved in the floor section about two inches.  Just need to add the filler strip across the wheel well.

The floor has been added.  We’ve raised it about 2” for rear-end and crossmember clearance.  We now have clearance for a decent (but not too big) rear tire
