We have the hood disassembled once it was fitted.  As you can see, there was a bit of surface rust that has to be completely removed before the application of any primer.
	Some time spent scrubbing with metal prep cleans away all traces of rust, for a perfectly clean hoodside.
	The first application is a metal etching primer by Dupont.  This really bites into the metal.
