We're
using an original firewall - and yes, it's full of holes. Even though
there are several good manufactures of firewalls, the original just
seems to fit the cowl better. So now we'll take the extra effort to
fill them. |

Now to make room for the engine/tranny, we'll cut the lower center section out and flatten it just a bit. |

Everything's done - we've also welded the firewall to the body. This gives the body so much more rigidity. |
