We didn't like the way the rear fender opening looked around the rear tire.  It just didn't have the right contour.  So we cut the outer lip off around the rear fender. 
Here's the section we removed. We will now run it through the shrinker/stretcher, re-shaping the curve to better fit the tire diameter.
The piece is now tacked back in.  We now check to make sure the curvature fits the tire correctly.  It does, so now on to finish welding and filing.
The welding is complete, and finished inside and out.  Now on to the other fender...
Here's the other side, all metal finished and ready for primer....
