we’re using ’35-’36 Ford rear radius rods (chromed), front mounts are built into center crossmember.  The bars on the radius rods were made to look like two “c” channels riveted together.

WHEELS

Wheels were made from solid aluminum blocks (2 per wheel – 1 for the hoop, 1 for the center).  Hoops were heated slightly and centers dropped in/then bolted.  Front wheels were made first, then rear were enlarged proportionally so the entire wheel is a bit larger.  Wheels were made by Fossbinder Fabrications in Moline IL.

Hubcaps – Custom made, proportionately larger in the rear, mounted on a “hub” with bearing, so the V8 stays upright when rolling.

Body mods Doors shortened/body lengthened 1.5”, steel insert added to roof (all new channel added to roof for a flush fit), cut rear fenders and reshaped openings for better fit around tires, cut front fenders and remade to match side to side and better flow over front tires.  Modified front apron (better fit, finish off underside so it meets front rails, indentations for a more pleasing design), modified rear aprons for better fit and thinned up so they don’t look so clunky.  Also so they fit nicer around taillight stands.  Modified rear spreader for hidden wires.  Modified headlight bar (dropped one bolt hole in fender, narrowed, and cut apart and drilled for hidden headlight wires). Hoodtops pie cut 3/8” at front/nothing at rear, Delivery De-Luxe  bullnose added to grill shell, commercial shell,

Headlights    ’32 Ford modified with blinkers and removed the “t” handle at the bottom of headlight ring.  Also hidden headlight wires run inside the headlight bar.

INTERIOR

 

Dash Modified stock panel for ’32 Chrysler unit.  Classis instruments redid the panel, the hole in stock dash enlarged 3” wider and Ύ” higher.

 

material – steel/hard rock maple,  special interior features  handmade upper windshield header, rear upper door header,all handmade steel panels in the rear, ’32 truck door panels, handmade kick panels, handmade floor panels with sunken rubber floor mats and dimpled screw holes, inner firewall with tranny tunnel,  smoothed inner fenderwells, Rear door garnish molding combines two 34 rear door garnish moldings with a lot of work,  Dennis Crooks modified original steering wheel (downsized), timed blinkers by Watson Street Works, modified original column and drop, All interior wood hard rock maple handmade by Kelly Page, Durant Iowa.  Many boxes of Dynamat extreme used throughout the interior keeps the interior surprisingly quiet and rattle free.
